My Collections are hand fabricated from Gold and silver sheets using traditional silversmithing techniques at my studio in Dorset.

I studied jewellery design and silversmithing in Sheffield in the mid 1990s.

I made Jewellery for my mother who was registered blind and my work has been heavily influenced by special textures on metal and the tactile feel of finished pieces.  I made items that felt nice to touch and since then I have been drawn to bold shapes and textures.

In 2012 I moved from a Sheffield workshop to a shop and workshop on the edge of Sherwood Forest. Working under the eves of the country’s most ancient Oak forest was another great influence. The first collection I drew there was The Leaves of Sherwood. There were only six pieces to begin with and most sold before I’d  finished making them. The collection has grown since and can be found in galleries from Scotland to London and across the pond in America. I’ve sent pieces across Europe, North America and as far away as Australia and the Falkland Isles making it the most popular collections I’ve put together.

In 2016 I moved to the Assynt region of the Sutherland highlands of Scotland, it’s where my heart lies since holiday as a small child. I was delighted to make the move there and have been thoroughly inspired by the natural beauty and ancient history of the region.

In 2021 my partner Stu and I welcomed our baby daughter into the world, something I thought would never happen for me at 43 years of age. This amazing new arrival sparked a move from our much loved home in Sutherland to the West Dorset countryside.
