Silver and copper buttercup necklace

This silver and copper Buttercup necklace is handmade in my Dorset workshop, inspired by the familiar sight of buttercups in the local meadows. Buttercups are one of the first signs of spring, and I always look forward to seeing their cheerful yellow blooms lighting up the grass.

Each piece is crafted using recycled silver and copper, combining sustainability with a simple, nature-inspired design. I start with concave 16mm silver circle, delicately imprinting it with a buttercup pattern. I then carefully hand-cut copper buttercups and solder them onto the silver, creating a warm copper-on-silver contrast. The necklace comes with an 18″ sterling silver chain and gift box.

No two pieces are exactly alike, giving each item a unique, handcrafted character. A versatile choice, perfect for nature lovers or anyone who appreciates thoughtful, handmade craftsmanship.
