Silver and copper buttercup stud earrings

These Silver and Copper Buttercup stud earrings are handmade in my Dorset workshop, inspired by the familiar sight of buttercups in the local meadows. Buttercups are one of the first signs of spring, and I always look forward to seeing their cheerful yellow blooms lighting up the grass.

Each piece is crafted using recycled silver and copper, combining sustainability with a simple, nature-inspired design. I start with 11mm concave silver circles, delicately imprinting them with a buttercup pattern. I then carefully hand-cut copper buttercups and solder them onto the silver, creating a warm copper-on-silver contrast.

No two pieces are exactly alike, giving each item a unique, handcrafted character. A versatile choice, perfect for nature lovers or anyone who appreciates thoughtful, handmade craftsmanship.
