Handmade Silver engraved semi-circle necklace

This is a very elegant necklace that can be worn everyday or for special occasions. It comprises of 5 12mm across semi-circles of engraved silver with a hammered circle detail at the centre top and suspended from an 18″ delicate silver chain. Handmade in my Dorset studio from recycled silver with full British hallmarks.

Planished and beaten metal is one of the oldest forms of decorating jewellery. I use this technique to make very contemporary and wearable pieces. This collection tries to capture the beauty and complexity of dappled light reflecting on moving water.

In our rural Dorset workshop, we marry traditional craftsmanship with modern sensibilities to create jewellery that is as sustainable as it is stunning. By using recycled silver, we minimize our environmental footprint ensuring that every piece we create leaves a positive legacy for generations to come
