The stags, with their imposing yet playful demeanour, often ventured near the my home, cheekily stealing seeds from bird tables and even begging for treats at the door..

Although now residing in Dorset, where roe deer gracefully roam, the connection to these creatures remains strong. Even our young daughter finds fascination in the deer, mistaking them for horses and wondering why they shy away
