Sterling silver 3 banded spinning ring

Handmade sterling silver spinning ring featuring three moving silver bands that spin freely around a wide hammered silver ring. Comfortable, tactile and beautifully eye-catching, this statement ring is one of my most popular designs and is handmade to order in any ring size.

The broad 12mm band is decorated with a hand-applied hammered texture, while the outer edges are gently flared to create an exceptionally comfortable fit. The three spinning rings move independently around the main band, making the ring not only visually interesting but also wonderfully satisfying for anyone who likes to fiddle with their jewellery.

Spinning rings, sometimes known as meditation or fidget rings, have been worn for centuries. I love the combination of movement and craftsmanship they offer, transforming what begins as a simple strip of silver into a substantial piece of jewellery with multiple moving parts. The hammered finish is one of the oldest decorative techniques in jewellery making, yet it remains wonderfully contemporary and perfectly suited to modern wear.

Each ring is designed and handmade by me in my Dorset workshop using recycled sterling silver and traditional silversmithing techniques. Creating a spinning ring is a surprisingly involved process, requiring multiple rings to be individually formed, soldered, textured and fitted together before the final piece can be finished and polished.
